The Balance Collection

The creation of this series came about after some drastic life-changing events. The shapes within each piece should appear as though at any moment they would topple over, but instead they're suspended by "hanging in the balance." This tension reflects life's journey as we all try to keep it together.

Balance #4

20 x 20 Canvas board painted acrylic paints and bright hues. Measured onto the canvas, the pieces appear to be carefully balanced by the shapes they rest on. Coated in a clear coat giving the canvas a glass-like appearance.
